Made to order
Every print is made when you order it. Nothing is held in stock. That is what keeps the quality consistent, and it is also why the timings below start with production rather than dispatch.
Production takes [SET THIS: e.g. 3–5] business days before the work is collected by the carrier. Larger sizes and framed work take longer.
Shipping and costs
Chosen at checkout. The times below are carrier times, counted from dispatch rather than from when you order:
- Standard — $18, arriving 5–8 business days after dispatch.
- Express — $45, arriving 2–3 business days after dispatch.
Prints ship rolled in a rigid tube unless the piece says otherwise. Framed canvases are crated and arranged individually.
Where we ship
The United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. If you are somewhere else and want a piece, write to hello@belowseastudio.com and we will see what can be done.
Customs and duties
Orders outside the United States may attract import duty, tax or customs handling fees on arrival. Those are set by your country, are not ours to collect or predict, and are the recipient’s responsibility. A parcel refused at customs is treated as a return, less shipping.
Tracking
A confirmation goes out as soon as you order, and tracking follows when the work ships.
If it arrives damaged or wrong
Tell us within 14 days of delivery, at hello@belowseastudio.com, with photographs of the work and of the packaging it came in. The packaging matters — carriers require it for a claim.
If the work was damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, or is faulty, we will remake and reship it at our cost. If we cannot, you get a full refund including shipping. No return is needed unless we ask for one, and if we do, we pay for it.
Changing your mind
Because each print is made for you, we cannot take back a print that is simply not wanted, and open edition prints are not returnable for change of mind.
If you have ordered and immediately realised something is wrong, write to us straight away. If production has not started we will change or cancel it.
If your local consumer law gives you a right to cancel that applies despite the work being made to order, that right stands — nothing here removes it. Write to us and we will honour it.
Limited editions
Framed canvases are arranged individually by enquiry. Delivery, installation and any return terms are confirmed in writing before payment, and those terms take precedence over this page.
Lost in transit
If tracking stops moving for more than seven business days, tell us. We will open a claim with the carrier and keep you posted. If the parcel is confirmed lost, we remake and reship at our cost.
